Presets

What are Presets?

Presets capture your entire render configuration -- pipeline, template, diffusion settings, LoRA, post-processing, and prompts -- so you can reuse or share a complete setup. Presets are stored as portable, human-readable .hextile.json files.

Saving a Preset

Open the Presets dropdown and select Save Current as Preset. Name it, add a description, and choose which fields to include. Custom presets save to your local library. Use the Config Manager to export directly as a .hextile.json file to disk.

Loading a Preset

The Presets dropdown lists built-in and custom presets. Click one to preview its contents, then pick which fields to apply -- for example, load only the diffusion settings while keeping your current template. Use Config Manager Load to open a .hextile.json file from disk.

Prompt Presets

Each diffusion model includes built-in quality presets (sharp, hd, photo) and negative prompt presets, applied automatically at render time. These do not appear in saved config files. For reusable prompt templates, see Worlds (.prompt.json files).

Config Manager

The Config Manager toolbar (Load, Save, Save As) works directly with .hextile.json files. Load applies a config to the current render; Save overwrites the current file; Save As exports to a new location. When a render is active, Save writes into the render directory as config.hextile.json.

Sharing

.hextile.json files are fully portable -- share via email, cloud storage, or the Hextile community. The recipient gets the exact same pipeline, model, LoRA, and post-processing setup. Only the input image and local model availability differ.
