Keyboard Shortcuts
360 Hextile supports keyboard shortcuts for the most common actions, so you can render, save, and manage configs without reaching for the mouse. Shortcuts work from anywhere in the application.
On Windows and Linux use Ctrl. On macOS use Cmd (⌘) — both are listed together below.
Rendering
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
Ctrl/Cmd + Enter |
Start a render (same as clicking the RENDER button). Does nothing while a render can't start — for example, if no input is set. |
You can press Ctrl/Cmd + Enter even while your cursor is in the prompt box. Plain Enter still inserts a new line in prompt fields; only the Ctrl/Cmd combination triggers a render.
Configurations
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
Ctrl/Cmd + N |
New configuration |
Ctrl/Cmd + O |
Open / load a configuration |
Ctrl/Cmd + S |
Save the current configuration |
Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + S |
Save configuration as… (new name) |
View
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
Alt + V |
Toggle the 360° viewer on/off |
F11 |
Toggle fullscreen |
Tips
- Hover the RENDER button to see its shortcut in the tooltip.
- Shortcuts are global — they work no matter which config tab you're on.
- The render shortcut respects the same rules as the button: if the button is disabled, the shortcut won't start a render.
