Start from a flat color source for diagnostics or simple compositions

Solid Color Input

Solid Color creates a neutral source image without uploading or generating a panorama. It is useful for Coverage Test diagnostics and for renders where the downstream pipeline should create most of the content.

How to use

  1. In Input, select Solid Color.
  2. Pick the starting color (neutral gray is a good diagnostic default).
  3. Configure Hextile template, diffusion (or Coverage Test), and other modules as usual.
  4. Render — the pipeline invents structure on the flat field rather than transforming an existing scene.

When it helps

  • Coverage checks without photographic distraction
  • Prompt-heavy scenes where you want the model to invent the full sphere
  • Debugging pipelines before committing to a large input image
