After Purchase

• License key delivered via email immediately after purchase
• Key format: HEXT-V1-{TIER}-{base64_payload}.{base64_signature}
• Also visible in your account dashboard at 360hextile.com/account

First-Run Wizard

On first launch, 360 Hextile guides you through a 7-step setup wizard:

1. Welcome — Splash screen with product introduction and feature highlights
2. Storage — Choose your data root path (models, outputs, configs)
3. License — Enter and activate your license key (details below)
4. GPU — Automatic GPU detection and VRAM assessment
5. Telemetry — Opt-in to anonymous usage telemetry (optional)
6. Models — Select AI models to download (SDXL recommended to start)
7. Complete — Ready to use; all settings can be changed later in Settings

The wizard can be re-run at any time from Settings > Reset Wizard.

Activating Your License

During First Run (Wizard Step 3)

The first-run wizard prompts for your license key at Step 3: 1. Paste your license key 2. Click "Activate" 3. Key validated offline (Ed25519 signature verification) — no server required 4. Machine fingerprint registered locally 5. Server notified asynchronously (background, non-blocking) 6. Confirmation displayed with your license tier

From Settings (After First Run)

• Open Settings → License section
• Enter your license key → Click Activate
• Same validation process as first-run

What Happens on Activation

• Key verified offline via Ed25519 public key (embedded in app)
• Your machine's hardware fingerprint is registered locally
• License stored on disk (encrypted) — works without internet
• Server notified in background (no impact on activation flow)
• All licensed features unlocked immediately

Activation Limits

• 2 machine activations per Standard license
• Each activation tied to a hardware fingerprint (CPU + storage + network)
• Changing major hardware (motherboard, CPU) may consume a new activation slot

Deactivating / Transferring to Another Machine

1. In-app: Settings → License → Deactivate
2. This frees one activation slot
3. You can now activate on a different machine
4. Also manageable via 360hextile.com/account

Offline Use

• License works completely offline after initial activation
• No internet required for rendering, processing, or any features
• Periodic online check (every 24 hours when connected) — 7-day grace period if offline

Troubleshooting

• "Activation limit reached" → Deactivate an unused machine first
• "Invalid license key" → Check for typos, copy directly from email
• "Server unreachable" → Check internet, try again in a few minutes
• "License revoked" → Contact 360hextile@phong.com
