v1.2.3-alpha
Alpha Latest AlphaExperimental RTX 5090 and Blackwell support
First build that can load on RTX 5090 and similar Blackwell cards (5070, 5080). Support is experimental. CUDA 12.8 / torch 2.10.
Since 1.2.2-alpha. First build that can load on RTX 5090 and similar Blackwell cards; that support is experimental. Export HDRI into an Unreal project, install the Core models, and Describe the Tiles crop. Early preview. Expect rough edges.
Help → Check for Updates is the path from 1.2.2-alpha to this build.
What's new
RTX 5090 and Blackwell — This is the first 360 Hextile build that can load on GeForce RTX 5090 and similar Blackwell cards (RTX 5070, 5070 Ti, 5080). Support is experimental. A later alpha may still be needed for some pipelines. The Python CUDA stack is CUDA 12.8: torch 2.10.0+cu128, matching torchvision / torchaudio / xformers, torchao 0.16, bitsandbytes 0.49.2, CuPy 13.6, and the CUDA 12.8 runtime wheels. GPU-fit lists those cards. Diffusers and transformers stay on the qualified 0.37.1 / 4.57.6 API.
Unreal project export — Export has File and Unreal project. Unreal Engine (HDRI) applies lat-long HDR for UE4/UE5 TextureCube import. Choose a .uproject; Unreal can be closed. HDR saves into the project.
Core models — Install all recommended models queues SDXL Base and distilled FLUX.2 Klein. Models lists start expanded. Continue / Later / Skip never enqueue. Requested installs survive restart. Repair sits beside generation in the 360 block, header, and Models.
Models Test — Test runs through the GPU owner. One attempt per click. Outcomes stay in the Test dialog.
Tiles and Spot — Describe captions the selected-tile crop photo. Seed dice live in the SEED header. Advanced sits under the prompt with Global Prompt and Style. Spot Seed uses the same dice header.
Create — 360 LoRA is first in Create options.
Size — 12K (12288×6144) is on the equirect ladder. Hover 4K / 8K / 16K Size pills on the Render Detail hero. Size pills hide when the viewed node is 6K or larger.
GPU fit — Cards read Good fit for your GPU, May run slowly, Not a fit for your GPU, Unavailable. The fit pill sits beside status.
Copilot — Tool turns reach the studio. Unreal export tools are available. Consent-bound MCP turns.
License — Activation works with development access. Saved license and development-access status stay distinct.
Window title — Caption is 360 Hextile Pro plus version and channel.
Send Feedback — The draft stays until a confirmed receipt.
Fixes
- Tiles Describe snapshots a square crop buffer so the caption matches the selected face.
- Missing-template fallback is Dodecahedron.
- Splash hides the prerender console until hydrate fills it. Version hangs as a half-pill on the startup minilog.
- Dummy intake pipeline stays hidden until committed.
- Tiles no longer shows "Saving draft…" under the button.
- Sidecar startup failures and orphan identity close cleanly.
- GPU compatibility catalog includes RTX 5090 and the other Blackwell GeForce cards.
- Download progress uses one shared sample across Models, LoRA, ControlNet, cards, and 360 rows.
Alpha notes
RTX 5090 and other Blackwell cards are first-look in this alpha. If a model fails to load or a render dies on a 50-series GPU, send the log from Help → Send Feedback.
A later 1.2 alpha should appear in Help → Check for Updates. If a tool wait-pills forever or Exit refuses to park, send the log from Help → Send Feedback.
