Community Guidelines · Version 1.1 · Effective 2026-07-31 · version history

1. Discord Code of Conduct

In short: critique the work, not the person. Stay on topic, keep public channels safe for a general audience, and never share licence keys.

These principles apply to all activity in the 360 Hextile Discord server. They exist to keep the community constructive, welcoming, and focused on creative work.

  • Be respectful. Critique work, not the person. Harassment, discrimination, or targeted hostility based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
  • Keep it constructive. When giving feedback, be specific and helpful. Vague negativity adds nothing. Aim to help others improve.
  • Stay on topic. Each channel has a purpose. Post prompts in #prompts, bugs in #bug-reports, renders in #showcase. Off-topic posts will be moved or removed.
  • No spam or unsolicited self-promotion. Do not repeatedly post the same content, flood channels with messages, or promote external products/services without permission.
  • No NSFW content in public channels. All content posted in public channels must be safe for a general audience. There are no age-restricted channels at launch.
  • No illegal content. Do not share pirated software, circumvention tools, license keys, or any content that violates applicable law. This includes 360 Hextile license keys — sharing yours voids it.
  • Respect privacy. Do not share other people's personal information, private messages, or images without their explicit consent.
  • Follow Discord's Terms of Service. All Discord platform rules apply on top of these guidelines. See discord.com/terms.

2. Discord Server Rules

In short: the same principles, condensed to eight lines for the welcome channel.

Short-form rules posted in the server welcome channel:

  1. Be respectful and constructive
  2. No NSFW content in public channels
  3. No spam, self-promotion, or unsolicited DMs to members
  4. No piracy or sharing of license keys
  5. Keep discussions in the right channels
  6. No harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks
  7. One account per person
  8. Follow Discord's Terms of Service

Breaking these rules results in escalating action: warning → timeout → ban. Severe violations (illegal content, harassment campaigns) may skip directly to a permanent ban.

3. Gallery Content Policy

In short: the Gallery is for 360° panoramas you made with 360 Hextile. A short list of things are never allowed, and the first of them carries zero tolerance.

What's Allowed

The gallery is a showcase for AI-generated 360° panoramic images created with 360 Hextile. Permitted content includes:

  • 360° panoramic AI-generated images
  • Landscapes, environments, and architectural visualizations
  • Abstract art and experimental renders
  • Fantasy, science fiction, and surreal environments
  • Any creative subject matter that complies with this policy

What's Prohibited

The following content is not permitted in the gallery under any circumstances:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zero tolerance. Immediate permanent ban and mandatory reporting to NCMEC and law enforcement.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) and deepfakes. Images that simulate real identifiable people in sexual or degrading situations without their consent.
  • Hate content. Images promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination against any group based on protected characteristics.
  • Graphic violence. Gore, torture, or gratuitous depictions of extreme violence.
  • Spam and duplicates. Mass uploading of identical or near-identical images.
  • Impersonation. Images or metadata designed to impersonate another person or organization.
  • Malicious metadata. Titles, descriptions, or tags containing malicious links, misleading content, or SEO spam.
  • Non-360° content. Flat or non-panoramic images. All gallery submissions must be genuine equirectangular 360° panoramas.
  • Copyright infringement. Images generated by directly reproducing copyrighted artwork style in a way that constitutes infringement, or metadata containing infringing text.

4. NSFW Policy

In short: no NSFW content in the Gallery. An accidental upload gets hidden and a conversation, not a penalty.

The gallery does not allow NSFW content. This includes nudity, sexual content, and fetish material of any kind. There is no age-gated section of the gallery.

This policy reflects practical constraints at launch: operating a mixed-audience creative platform without age-gating infrastructure means all content must be safe for a general audience.

Accidental NSFW: If you upload content that turns out to be borderline or unintentionally NSFW, the image will be hidden on first occurrence with no formal penalty. You will be contacted by an admin and may re-publish after modifying or removing the offending content. Repeated occurrences escalate to the standard enforcement tiers.

5. Content Quality

In short: name your work, share your best of it, and clean up the near-duplicates.

The gallery is a curated showcase, not a dumping ground. We expect genuine creative effort from submissions.

  • Meaningful titles. Use descriptive titles that communicate what the image is. Generic titles like "untitled" or "test render 47" are discouraged.
  • Real creative work. Default-settings renders with no artistic intent may be removed to maintain gallery quality. Experiment, iterate, share your best work.
  • Duplicate management. If you upload many variations of the same image, keep only the best versions. Admins may request cleanup of excessive duplicates.

6. Enforcement Tiers

In short: five steps from a quiet word to a permanent ban, applied the same way every time. None of them touch your software licence.

Policy violations are handled through a tiered enforcement system applied consistently across the gallery and Discord. Enforcement is cross-platform — a ban in the gallery affects your Discord standing and vice versa for serious violations.

Tier Action Duration
0 — Notice Content hidden; admin contacts user to explain the issue N/A
1 — Warning Formal written warning logged to account Permanent record
2 — Temp Suspension Gallery uploads blocked; Discord timeout 7 days
3 — Extended Suspension Gallery uploads blocked; Discord timeout 30 days
4 — Permanent Ban Account banned; all content hidden; Discord ban Permanent

Licence implications: Gallery and Discord bans do not automatically revoke your 360 Hextile software licence. The software is a separate relationship, governed by the End User Licence Agreement — that is the only document that grants you the licence. Revocation is reserved for egregious violations such as CSAM or organized licence key sharing.

7. Copyright & Ownership

In short: what you make is yours. Publishing to the Gallery only lets us host and show it.

You Own Your Images

You keep all rights to the images you generate with 360 Hextile. We claim no ownership over your work. You can use it commercially, share it, sell it, or keep it private — subject to the licences of the AI models you generated with, which are listed on the attribution page.

The Gallery Licence

When you publish an image to the Gallery, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence solely to host it, process it (thumbnails, resolution variants, CDN distribution), display it, and let viewers view or download it according to the settings you chose. That is the whole grant, and the full wording is in the Gallery section of the Terms of Service.

  • It ends when you delete the image — apart from CDN caches, which expire on their own schedule shortly afterwards
  • It is non-transferable — we cannot sell or sublicense your images to anyone
  • It is not an advertising licence — we do not use your work to promote 360 Hextile. If we ever want to, we will ask you first and you can say no

What You Cannot Claim

You cannot claim copyright over the 360 Hextile software, the AI model weights used for generation, or any 360 Hextile trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

8. Copyright complaints

In short: copyright takedowns have their own page now.

If content in the Gallery infringes your copyright, everything you need — the designated agent, what a notice must contain, how to file a counter-notice, and our repeat-infringer policy — is on the DMCA & Copyright page.

9. Reporting Violations

In short: every Gallery image has a flag button, and reports are anonymous. On Discord, mention an Admin.

Gallery

Every image in the gallery has a flag button. Click it, select the reason that best describes the violation (illegal content, NSFW, spam, copyright infringement, harassment, or other), and submit. Reports are anonymous. All reports are reviewed by an admin.

Discord

For Discord violations, mention @Admin in the relevant channel or use Discord's built-in reporting feature (right-click a message → Report). For urgent matters or private concerns, send a direct message to an Admin.

10. Appeals

In short: think we got it wrong? Email us and a person will look again, within 7 business days.

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, appeal by emailing 360hextile@phong.com with the subject line "Appeal: [your username]". Include the specific action you're appealing and why you believe it was incorrect.

Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days. The decision following an appeal is final.

Non-appealable actions: Permanent bans issued for CSAM, illegal content, or other zero-tolerance violations are not subject to appeal.

11. Changes to These Guidelines

In short: we announce significant changes in Discord, and every version is listed on the Policy Changelog.

We may update these guidelines as the community grows and new situations arise. Significant changes are announced in the Discord #announcements channel and recorded on the Policy Changelog. Continuing to use the Gallery or Discord after a change is posted means you accept the updated guidelines.

12. Contact

In short: email us, or just ask in Discord.

Questions about these guidelines: 360hextile@phong.com, or ask in the Discord server.
