360 video viewer, GPU-fit models, and matching LoRAs

Play 360 and fulldome video on the sphere. Pick models that fit this GPU. SD 3.5 Medium BF16 on 24 GB. Filter LoRAs to this checkpoint.

Since 1.2.0-alpha. Play 360 video on the sphere, pick models that fit this GPU, run SD 3.5 Medium on 24 GB, and keep LoRAs on this checkpoint. Early preview. Expect rough edges.

Help → Check for Updates is the path from 1.2.0-alpha to this build.

What's new

360 video viewer — Open an equirectangular or fulldome MP4 on the same sphere as stills. File → Open or drop the file; the player reads the source projection and plays it in place.

  • Playback: play / pause, seek, frame step, loop, volume
  • Double-click toggles fullscreen. In fullscreen, chrome returns from the edges
  • Fulldome sources fit the dome FOV
  • Recents reopen the last videos after a restart
  • Copilot hides for the video session so the player chrome stays clean
  • Grab a still from the video into a render; generated video frames can promote into the library

GPU-fit models — The header pipeline picker lists workflows this GPU can run first. Each row carries a fit color: Fits, Slow, Won't fit, or No GPU. Edit sits above Diffusion. Installed-fit cards, delayed model cards, and a left-side default pin. Active selection survives refresh.

Download Models stays open (Folders icon). The recommended block is Works with your GPU. SD 3.5 Medium is the featured 4090 row; Large is the heavy 24 GB offload row. Model Info is a square button; the flyout opens on click, to the right of the control. The diffusion dropdown is a flat list so fit color stays on every row.

SD 3.5 Medium — Automatic on a 24 GB card (desktop 4090 class) can host Medium as BF16 resident with T5 parked. Precision is a compact rich menu on the shared diffusion controls: BF16, INT8 offload (LoRA-safe admission), and the tested FP8 profile. Last-used precision returns when you hop back from another pipeline. Variations restore the draft's precision.

Z-Image Turbo — Distilled recipe: CFG 0 and about 8–9 steps. The sliders cap to that band. GGUF Q4 is an owner-tested 4090 path and honors the selected pill. On-disk BF16 weights load as BF16.

LoRAsWorks with this model filters Installed / Available / All to this checkpoint (on by default). The same switch lives on the LoRA Tab, the compact LoRA module, and the Library filter row. A Wrong model pill marks a mismatch. Render, preview, 360, and batch admit refuse an incompatible bind.

Tiles and Spot — A leftover take on RENDER or Park opens a house admit sheet: Keep parks Tiles/Spot on the previous node (Enter-accept), Discard deletes them. Preview-busy vetoes admit. Leftover drafts re-adopt only for the armed parent.

Sit-back preview uses one slow white band across the rendering hex. Idle Tiles sheen travels the outer rim. The sheen lives in the tile plane and lands on the dashed hex. Tiles prompt and settings survive Commit. The last Tiles face stays selected across re-arm. Preview ownership survives tool exit, websocket handshake, and reconnect unpin.

Selected-tile crop follows the armed face ring. Preview Style lives inside the Selected tile expander (after the spec grid): Line, Color, Understroke. The selected hex draws a cased dash overlay so the black casing reads on the pano. Click-face sheen plays with the outer rim comet. Spot stays armed when 360-on-top hides Render Detail. The live pipeline pill drives Spot, Tiles, and header admit. Spot panes keep the full Preview Style family.

Create and prompt — Create-card icons sit in a larger 1px zinc-700 circle. Open appears on hover, pinned to the right of the icon row. Compact 360 Prompt Module already had Generate and Modify; Describe is now on that row, keyless, one size while it runs, and it samples the panorama. Compact Enhance / Optimize / Expand / Contract / Variation sit as icon-only minis with the refinement squares; Worlds and Style wrap on that same row. Seed is a sibling expander of Advanced; the collapsed header shows the live mode or literal number. Typed CFG values such as 10 stay in the number box when the slider band is 0–4 (thumb pins at max). Denoising strength defaults to 0.5 on every pipeline. Manage tags is on every TagDropdown — cards, bulk bars, and the render page bar use the same catalog footer as Create.

Templates — Factory Dodecahedron ships the Soft payload (wider, softer masks; same tpl_4BC9D3DN, so existing recipes pick it up on the next render). The picker shows the stored template while the catalog loads, and restores a default when a last-used name is gone.

Resize / Scale — Completed-render Scale is viewed-relative and parents on the viewed node. Upsample wait chrome is a sliver; Cancel is a ghost X on the caption row so the wait pill stays one density.

License — Diamond activation offers a stacked option set. Sign-in, tool, render, sequence, and batch paths go through one evaluator. A 402 recovers through the modal. Queue reserve rechecks before pop. Routine license-check toasts stay quiet.

Fixes

  • Real-ESRGAN: a cleared or dead NCNN handle no longer owns the GPU after NVML settle misses, so Spot/SDXL can load. Unknown NVML after a dead handle is treated as freed, so Spot exclusive-switch can proceed.
  • Z-Image Auto quant no longer treats an on-disk BF16 folder as GGUF.
  • Tiles/Spot leftover drafts discard before RENDER/Park; preview-busy cannot sneak a second take.
  • Tiles/Spot stopping and preview identity survive reset, reconnect, and display-URL churn.
  • Tiles selected-face dash does not draw a false horizon chord when the ring is culled.
  • Fulldome video fits the dome FOV; player chrome stays isolated from craft tools; recents reopen after restart.
  • Template face-override miss warns when every authored face fails to join.
  • Render log load rows stay LOADING - [message] so the model name is not truncated.
  • Viewer page load survives the viewerSurface import split.
  • Tiles keeps an emptied prompt until blur, then writes it; a baked face re-drafts when the recipe changes.
  • Factory template swap keeps the frozen id and header; only the payload moves.
  • A leftover Direct id such as realesrgan-x4plus on a tiled pipeline no longer Hub-loads as-is.
  • Splash liturgy and clock share one garnish line.

Alpha notes

A later 1.2 alpha should appear in Help → Check for Updates. If a tool wait-pills forever or Exit refuses to park, send the log from Help → Send Feedback.
