v1.2.10-alpha
Alpha Latest AlphaOutpaint 360 and Shader Workshop
Outpaint arranges photos into a 1440×720 360. Shader Workshop writes GLSL with live preview, Timeline, and Render Sequence.
Since 1.2.9-alpha. Create Outpaint arranges photos into a 360° panorama at 1440 × 720, with Generate in the App Header. Create Shader opens Shader Workshop for GLSL with live 360 preview, Timeline, and Render Sequence. Settings → Plugins gates Pattern, 360 LoRA, Outpaint, Fractal, and Shader. Settings → MCP has Enable MCP and Follow local agent. Shader, Outpaint, and Fractal carry an Alpha pill. Early preview. Expect rough edges.
Help → Check for Updates is the path from 1.2.9-alpha to this build.
What's new
Outpaint — Create Outpaint. Arrange photos into a 360° panorama. Photos holds up to 16 images; drop them on the sphere or Add photos. The top of the list paints in front. Undo / Redo, Duplicate, Remove, and Placement set size and roll. Layout is the 2048 × 1024 model reference; green is the area to fill. Place on sphere raises the 360. Check pixels opens What the model receives. Output is 1440 × 720, fixed for this model. The App Header holds the run controls: Outpaint model, Variations (section Render count, ×1 / ×2 / ×4, with a disabled 1440 × 720 Resolution row), and Generate / Cancel. Model files show on the desk only while they are missing. Prompt describes the world around the photos; trigger text is added for you. Seed (or Random). Preserve placed pixels pastes your photos back over the result, pixel for pixel. The author draft autosaves (Draft saved, Restored your draft from last session, Clear draft). The header stays mounted when the 360 is raised. Settings → Plugins Enable Outpaint: allow new Outpaint creation; existing drafts, jobs, and renders stay. A tracked job keeps Job status and Open job.
Shader Workshop — Create Shader. Write or adapt GLSL for realtime 360 rendering. Enter Shader Workshop. Code edits the document; Expose selection (Ctrl+Shift+E) publishes uniforms. Check & Preview compiles to the live 360. Image inputs take Renders or Sequences as 360 or Flat, with Hold frame or Follow Shader time. Parameters, Looks, Modulators, and Master Clock (Tempo, Master speed, Add clock) drive the preview. Driven parameters hide the slider and show a live readout during playback. Parameter setups restore across mode edits without a discard confirmation. Color palettes share the Pattern preset menu for shader ramps. Timeline scrubs T in seconds; completed value traces draw on the track. 360 Doctor reports seam and pole defects. Variation board captures forks. Performance shows draw cost. Library shelves are Project, My Library, and Built-in, with captured covers and larger thumbnails. New built-in starters include Apollonian gasket, Spectre monotile, Julia dendrite, Voronoi plates, Truchet tiles, thin-film iridescence, spherical spiral, Ginzburg–Landau, phase-field crystal, BZ waves, spherical harmonics, and gyroid slice. View is Sphere / Map; Preview size is independent of Output. Playback, Interact, and Pointer sit on the 360. Save As… copies a document; landing and Library show the last preview cover. Import (and Import again) bakes a still; Stop cancels. Export Fulldome writes a square domemaster. Render Sequence renders each saved-Shader frame to PNG masters in Sequences (Timing: Start, End, FPS). Save-and-preview preparation retries after a save failure. The viewer widget Dome sequence… opens that job with the current Dome pose. Ask Copilot returns a candidate; Include shader source is required before source is sent. Header Exit Workshop leaves the session. Exit Create leaves any creator header.
Plugins — Settings tab Plugins (/settings?tab=create). One Plugins list: Create switches Enable Pattern, Enable 360 LoRA, Enable Outpaint, Enable Fractal, Enable Shader, then bundled and separately installed packages with status pills. Shader off blocks new authoring and output; saved Shaders and accepted jobs stay. Create hub order: 360 LoRA, Import Image, Pattern, Shader, Outpaint, Fractal, Solid Color, Sequence.
Pattern — Generator selector lives in the route header as a pill, with reset beside the preset label. Color palettes expand to 80 curated presets and share the same menu with Shader ramps. Steppers and the generator pill stay visible while the catalog loads.
Solid Color — Create Solid Color. Preview shows the flat image at render resolution. Color has a picker, hex field, and eyedropper. Render size has width, height, and size chips. Use this color mints the render. Recent colors restores a prior swatch and its size.
360 LoRA — Run controls live in the App Header: Model, Generation resolution (section Resolution), Variations (section Render count), and Generate / Cancel. Retry check sits beside those pills when a selected verification failed. Generate opens Download models for {name} when files are missing. Rows show Adapter or Base model, queue, bytes, and ETA. Download required models, Resume download, Retry download, Not now. Model info starts collapsed when files are installed; Model files and the Models page link live in that card. Architecture tags are omitted from model names. Generation waits for matching CUDA readiness. Missing jobs recover and keep reruns.
Layers — Paste a clipboard image onto the panorama, including a Photoshop clipboard through a transparent temporary document. Delete layer is on the layer context menu. Layers Actions and the Layers submenu share one command set.
Spot — The tile input for the pass in progress stays visible while the card is held.
Tools — Transform tools and Post Process have an Enabled switch so you can compare against the input image before commit. LUT library sits below Post Process controls and shares the grid column selector.
Downloads — A pinned model download can resume from remaining bytes. Custom checkpoints resolve locally. Catalogs can refresh without changing the current selection.
Copilot — Shader Workshop Copilot and MCP can propose code on a granted span, including timeline and expression candidates. The MCP install popover is wider, with per-command copy and 360-hextile install lines. Heartbeat lights the pill.
MCP — Settings → MCP. Enable MCP allows external coding agents to use Hextile tools. Follow local agent applies the agent’s changes to studio controls and follows its navigation; the choice is saved when MCP is off. A header follow strip shows the live agent. Update the 360 Hextile plugin and restart the coding agent after turning the switch on.
Fixes
- Fractal bookmarks stay hash-bound; off-state actions and export JSON survive a failed save dialog. The Fractal create-menu catalog loads.
- Qwen 360 loading and CPU-offload floor stay aligned with admission.
- Low-memory retry stays on the selected offload placement.
- Config saves commit at the final write boundary.
- Go to line keeps focus through the New menu and image-input slot state.
- Shared trash copy names 360 LoRA and Outpaint together when both are in that feed.
- Shader preview releases superseded textures; ZIP64 bundles open at the 65535-member boundary.
- Canonical PNG open skips the Pillow size ceiling.
- App dialogs, including Feedback, sit above viewer chrome. App header height is 74px.
- Pattern header loading copy stays off the chrome; thumbnail and palette menus fit the viewport.
- 360 LoRA feed cells shimmer then fade in. Civitai panorama readiness is recognized.
- Hugging Face login and logout skip git.
- Installer packaging keeps Kornia sources for the matte engine.
- Outpaint rejects incompatible BF16 placement and uses Klein VAE tiling on the final decode.
- Outpaint header stays mounted when the viewer is raised; model choice is guarded during reload.
- Shader sequence preparation retries after a save failure; other channel binding slots stay during mode switches.
- Shared palette trigger keeps accessible text and a disabled state.
- Idle agent polling and access-log noise are reduced.
- 360 LoRA cancel errors show only while Cancel is the face; model load errors announce with Retry.
