360 Fractals

A Create input of its own, alongside Pattern. Pick a fractal generator, dial iterations and palette, project it onto the sphere.

Fractals are one of the ways you start an image in 360 Hextile — a Create input of their own, alongside Pattern. Pick a fractal generator and it is mapped onto the sphere as an equirectangular, so you can fly it, grade it, or feed it into a tiling pass.

There are 22 tagged fractal generators in the public catalog, plus named cousins such as Nova and Phoenix Julia. Seventy factory presets sit on that tagged set. Zoom, iterations, power, and palettes are editable.

  1. 1 · Generate 360 Fractals

Fractals are a first-class Create source, the same standing as Pattern, a 360 LoRA generation, or an imported photo.

  2. 2 · Pick a formula

Start with names you already know: Mandelbrot, Julia, Newton, Burning Ship. Then try the rest of the 22.

  3. 3 · Dial it

Iterations, zoom, power, and palette. Preview on the sphere. Keep a preset when it lands.

  4. 4 · Use it as a 360

Promote the result as the working image. Tile it, upsample it, or grade it like any other equirect.
